A little sweet revenge on the Karkand armour "whores"
Rather amusing little occurrence happened yesterday on a Karkand server. Playing as MEC I'd managed to sneak out to the main US base, where upon arriving I spotted a couple of "nublets" loitering round the tank re-spawn area. I also noticed one more who was running over to join the "e" button pressing bonanza.
Now, I know the "Hold it, cease fire!" message seems to only come when a certain amount of damage is taken from another teammate, so I settled myself down and drew my pistol, took aim and put a bullet into the leg of one of the loiterers. The fact I only shot once clearly disturbed the guy enough for him to think this might be the start of a Tk'ing frenzy for the tank. So, without looking around for an enemy first he proceeded to register a few of his own bullets into the chest of the newly approaching teammate, felling him in one burst.
The second guy who'd been loitering for the tank clearly got a little edgy over this development and, probably thinking he was next on the list, decided to take the law into his own hands and Tk the first guy - shoot first, ask later. Needless to say I found this highly amusing and at this point then decided it was due time to fell the remaining traitor and take the tank for myself.
So, in summary, I caused the opposition to commit 2 Tk's and if that was enough then stole their tank.
