did i discover a secret or is it something old? WHEN U R IN COMMAND MODE U ZOOM TO MEDIUM ZOOM AND GO BACK TO THE GAME , THEN IMMEDIATLLY GO BACK TO COMMAND MODE AND (BEFORE THE SCREEN FOCUSES TO LOOK AT EVERYONE) ZOOM ALL THE WAY IN AS CLOCE AS POSSIBLE AND THE PICTURE WILL BE FOCUSED BUT FARTHER AWAY TO GET A WIDER PICTURE OF THE AREA.THE TO GET BACK TO NORMAL U GO BACK TO GAME THEN BACK TO COMMAND MODE AGIAN AND DON'T DO ANYTHING UNTILL THE SCREEN FOCUSES AGAIN AND WHEN YOU ZOOM IN IT WILL BE CLOSER (BACK TO NORMAL) HERE ARE A SAMPLE PICTURES IN THE ATTATCHMENTS

see this is an example of a good exploit, its obvious that the normal 1x commander view is to close, this is definitly cool, just like the speedboat exploit isnt a good exploit but its not bad either.

Suggestion: Edit said painful post. You can do that, ya know. Press the big old button near your post that says "Edit". Try to fix the clairity as well as the caps. Attempt to translate it to english and we'd all be quite pleased with ya.

Yes I had this happen to me on Wake. It made it so much easier :) I could not figure out exactly how I did it.

Now you have explained it shows there is a bug in the game but hey :) I prefer the wider screen version :)

can someone do a short summary?

bascially i understands he zoom in at mid-range then cap locks to the game screen, then immediate it shows the screen u quickly cap locks it back to the commander screen, and then?

i understand what he means. when you're in commander view, make sure its at medium zoom. then quit out of commander view so you're just in normal game view. then press caps lock to bring back up the commander view, but before every focuses and shows up (i.e uav/scan buttons, teammate icons etc), zoom in quickly and you'll have a greater field of view as depicted

When you are in command mode, zoom to medium zoom and go back to the game, then immediately go back to to command mode and (before the screen focuses to look at everyone) zoom all the way in, as close as possible, and the picture will be focused but further away so you get a wider picture of the area.

To get back yo normal, go back to game, then back to command mode again and don't do anything until the screen focuses again, and when you zoom in it will be closer (back to normal).
