Couple of noob shooting questions

Hi guys,

I've played some, and seem to be getting a little better, but I suppose I'm still pretty bad.

Please help me out with some things.

I usually play as medic or anti tank on strike at karkand.

I see someone first(pretty close) and shoot directly at them, they don't die, next thing I know one shot from them kills me. I can't be that slow, am I missing something?

Sorta same thing, when both of us are shooting from prone position somewhat far away, I swear I am lined up right on enemy, yet they kill me seemingly really easy, I have a hard time killing them. Any tips?

aim better? headshots for the win. also switch to single fire if its from a distance and just pop shots 1 by 1 into them. also zoom in using right click.

I just wonder if I'm missing something.

Seems like some guys are able to jump up spin around, and nail me in one shot while I've had them in plain view the whole time. I can aim straight...

You just need practice, you're not slow on anything. It's natural to feel like everyone else is aiming better than you, because.. Well, savvies know how the guns work and it gives them that much edge to kill you. The AK-101 is a pretty good gun, personally it works for me by just lining up the iron sight and letting loose on full auto, I don't bother with bursts. For very far away I just take single shots.

Fire steady regular rates of fire. I.e 3 bullet burts are best i feel. If you see he's wearing armour aim for the head. If he ain't aim for the torso. If he goes prone aim for the head.

The best thing i can say is keep your cool. Spraying and Praying doesn't work on this game. Even on Karkand the bullets can struggle to hit their targets. You say you play anti-tank. Well get the DOA-12 shotty cos the sub machine guns suck royally. If your medic then in my iopinion you can only be equipped with good guns. AK-47 good, Ak-101 good, l85 better, G36E Awesome.

Keep at it though it will eventually click and you'll be blowing various sized holes in people like there's no tommorrow.

Trying playing assualt more often in order to improve your shooting skills. You get a better gun for the job and you get body armour that will let ya take a few more rounds before going down.

Make sure your behind cover so you can just about see your enemy. I dont go prone in the middle of a warzone because it leaves my back to exposed unless im slightly out of the action (Sniper).

and also, if they are running, you must 'lead' them. you problay know this but its where you shhot infront of the running target so they run into your bullet.

Some guns don't get 1 hit kill headshots in BF games. I think the AK guns will though so don't expect them as an american medic.

Assualt gets a good gun AND body armour. Medics get a good gun, no armour. AT get's armour, but a crap gun.

Assualt is the best kit for leanin ta shoot from hairballs. Spec opps is the best for learning how ta be sneaky. Medic is best for learning how to whore points.
