Microphone is really annoying >_>

Hey! ^_^

I just configured my microphone on the Threshold thingy in the BF2 folder and in BF2 options. When i get into the game, i hold 'V' when im commander/Sqaud leader but no-one seems to be able to hear it. All of the people i have asked said they could hear a thing

Alt-tab out of the game while it's running, run the Windows mixer, go to the Recording section, make sure 'mic' is selected, crank the volume up, and select 'mic boost' in the advanced section. Alt-tab back into BF2, try again.

I tried all of this and I STILL have the same problem. When I run the VOIP Setup, it doesn't seem to register at all. however when I talk in game, people can just barely hear me.
