Switching to detonator problem

Ok this is really ****ing me off. A lot of times when I throw C4, switch to detonator and push the trigger, somehow C4 will get thrown again and by then I'll be dead. It happens a lot and I don't know why. I even slow down the speed at which I press the trigger and it still does it, meanwhile I see people who can jump and toss it and explode it in midair.

Speaking of C4, what's up with people blowing themselves up on C4 and launching into the air up on rooftops and not dying?

Right click then left click. Click click. Fast. Not too fast, but somewhat fast. A little slower than a standard double click. Will solve all your problems.

To be more specific. This is what c4 chuckers do. They throw c4 then right-click left-click and c4 blows up. You don't even see the detonator. Try it.

switch to the detonator and just ignore that it switches back to c4, immediately press to detonate instead. The last c4 thrown will be a dud, so right-left click combo BOOM!

I have the same problem, it's realy bugged in my case, half the time when I want to detonate I just trow another C4 in front of my feet

Not exactly. I can do it and detonate every time, but would rather not divulge any details because there are enough damn C4 chuckers already. I'm sure if you search hard enough you can find a better way though.

Yeah, well you're one of them, and this guy wants to know how to blow your ass up when you attack.:laugh:

Just run, jump, and throw it. Immediately switch to detonator and detonate, ignoring that the animation shows another C4 coming out at your feet. The other C4 you see will disappear after you detonate the first one. Don't hold the mouse button while you throw, or 2 real ones will come out.... Just practice it away from other people in the server for a bit. It's not that hard, and you should be able to get it to work consistantly.
