          its just a game.
However you have to judge what you think is right, and what is wrong, when exposing your children to something.
I found most people are scumbags.......therefore they teach their kids to be scumbags.......or in the least, just lame people.
Im no religious freak by any mean.......but how about you take your 5 year old to church instead of playing bf2?

and seriously...think about it, should we be allowing really, anyone under the age of im thinking 15 years old to be playing computer games at all?
I've seen too many of my friends children's lives wasting away.
80 Degrees out. Sunny. Tons of toys, dirtbikes, four wheelers, parks, blah blah, yet they sit and play pc games for hours.
Kinda sad really. Whats more sad is that the parents allow it.

The game is rated 16+, so if your a responsible parent, you will NOT do that.

Since its rated T an 16+ yeh I suggest not because she is only 5 years old, she is too young to game on PC.

He wont listen, he possible thinks its cool and is proud of his little girl, but if your a caring father/mother dont do it. oh so what if she cant read , she would have to be deaf aswell as there is viop.

what is it with folk wanting there babys to play this game, it has a 16+ on and it doesnt have blood but the violence factor says it all.

come on parents be smart not stupid

                concerned mother!!

5 Year olds pose no challenge to me. I play tournament level on other games, and this game casually.

So, with that in mind, bring it on. Yes there are some scum that play, but for the most part I've found people are ok.

It's your choice.. do you want some sissy daughter thats a push over and plays with her barbie and tea set all day like mumma wants her to.. or a daughter whos able to blow your head clean off your shoulders just by looking in your direction?

Are you honestly a parent? The guidance rating is there for a reason, not to come and ask on a forum; as a parent you should know whats best and obviously allowing your child to play this game is plain silly. Might as well give her a gun and a kevlar helmet instead of a mouse and keyboard!

I love how all of these other people come in here and try to tell you how to raise your child. It is your child, you make the decision. If you think you can expose her to the game and explain to her that it is wrong then do whatever.

I mean, seriously, how is BF2 that much different than GI Joe? They ran around shooting at each other blowing everything up. The only difference here is that you see "critically wounded" for 15 seconds and then you come back to life and in GI Joe they always just barely escaped.

It's a video game and at 5 years old I think children are able to tell the difference between a videogame and real life.

Totally wrong! You are NOT alowed to raise a child however you want in an unresponsible way. You could have your right to parent children taken away from you if you dont act responsible about your parenting. I hope you are not an unresponsible parent yourself.

Yah, but you aren't Child Protective Services, so you have ZERO right to tell anyone how to raise their children. For that matter, you call CPS and ask them what they would do for letting a five year old play Battlefield 2. You will get the following answer, "What is Battlefield 2? Oh, a video game? Well, if the parent wants to let them...".

Get off your high horse. That isn't your child and you have no right to tell anyone how to raise their flesh and blood. I personally don't agree with letting a five year old play BF2, but it's not my kid, nor is it yours. You are just like all the other people in the world who want to force their views and their way of doing things on others.

To the OP: My advice? I wouldn't do it. Five is a bit young, but it's YOUR choice. It's your daughter. I don't know her, nor do I know you, so I (nor anyone else here) is in any kind of position to judge your decision.

 we tell him what, he asked us mate, otherwise why would we bother . yes and most kids do know whats right and wrong but most kids dont listen anyway.
