I would advise against it just because of some of the things said in chat and names people use. Dont want her predisposed to "Mother****ers" and "n*ggers" and "c*nts" do you?

You can hear all that just walking out your front door. Hell, school is a haven for foul mouths, even at a very young age..

These games are relatively clean...

I say, if you feel your child can handle the game, go for it. YEah, the game is rated for teen, but really, the rating system sucks. Completely useless.. What gave these people the ability to decide who culd see what.. Sh!t, 20 years ago they were banning movies that now only rate a +17..

I do think 5y old is a bit to young, not for the fact of playing a game and that it contains some violence, but more about the fact she won't be able to play the game, don't know for shure, children learn fast, but BF2 has many many features and big maps, so it is a hard job for a 5y old human

My almost 5 year old son plays BF2 (and Star Wars Battlefront 2).
And he loves to play commander, too .
I had to teach him not to mutiny...
