Does anyone know off a third Party FPS program for Bf2 ive seen SS with. so i guess there is one out there..help would be nice.

how so? all it does is display framerate in an overlay, it will lag when recording video only

Why can't you use renderer.drawFPS 1?

Fraps doesnt work with BF2 for me for some reason.

renderer method works for me so long as I have the same game open. I can even leave and join new servers (it hides durring the search window though).

I heard that fraps has memory leak but not sure i use it most of the time for vidoes and fps soo if any body out knows anything let us know

In mostof these games with console windows theres some file (propably ****.cfg or *****.con) where u can write additional console commands that will then be loaded every time u start the game.

Someone here could propably tell the name of the right file

Try RivaTuner..

With its stats servers OSD you can also monitor graphics card temp, memory usage etc if you want.

TSO gives u a FPS count it needs a bit of ajusting 2 run with punkbuster so u need 2 be careful when u run it

i read somewhere that if you write it in GameLogicInit.con file it will show all the time.

The file above can be found at ...Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\

haven't tried it myself yet though.

fraps uses cpu too much which causes immense lag
