How to be good commander????

I've recently been in the position of being forced into having to be my team's commander... Which isn't all bad because no one else would do it and someone has to command. My problem is that i suck at it! How do i accurately place artillery, supplies, uav, tell squads to attack/defend without actually being there on the map? I'm always having to travel around and place them in person. I watch people also place supplies to repair broken uav's at home base and am clueless how. I just need some directions and i'm sure i could do it well. Thanks

heh, the trick is NOT to move when u r commander. Use CAPS LOCK...it will bring up the commander menu :)

easy - first of all use the SCAN for a sat. sweep and spot any near by enemies. use the zoom on maximum to see precisely where to drop arty / supplies etc. just right click and select the spot.

Heh, yep, but that's the easy part, I posted some stuff about commander yesterday...probably a few threads down or so. It had some information that would probably be some help to you.

Well i dont know how to be a good commander but as superfro says use Caps Lock to enter the command screen and then you can zoom with the N key

That should help you place arty and supplies more accurat

It was a thread posted by me, with "commander" in the title. Do a search for it. It has a great link to a post that is a guide to basic commander functions. Would probably help you a ton.

Push cap locks. Sometimes zoom into the map. Always scan and spot and UAV where your guys are, not just where red dots are. Arty big dots, or grey flags.
