I've recently been in the position of being forced into having to be my team's commander... Which isn't all bad because no one else would do it and someone has to command. My problem is that i suck at it! How do i accurately place artillery, supplies, uav, tell squads to attack/defend without actually being there on the map? I'm always having to travel around and place them in person. I watch people also place supplies to repair broken uav's at home base and am clueless how. I just need some directions and i'm sure i could do it well. Thanks

Re: How to be good commander????
Enter the commander screen by hitting the caps lock key. Once there you'll see a top-down view of the battlefield. Scroll with the movement keys or left click to change positions on the map. Use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out on the map. At any time and at any level of zoom you can right click on the commander's map to issue squad assignments or place artillery and supplies. You can also right click on enemy troops to spot them on the minimap.
When commanding on maps with scans available I like to use it to follow troop movement and try to predict where they will be when the artillery hits. It takes practice but it a well timed arty strike can turn the tide of a battle.Comment
