Oh yes, PC users are obviously so much more intelligent than console users...which is why BF2 on the PC never has any children or idiots playing.

Why yes, I am a happy console owner. Do I have BF2 Modern Combat or an xbox? No. Am I a child or stupid just because I play console games? No.

However, I will still agree that the consol version maybe as said, dumbed down...

It is true that the maturity between PC Gamers and Consol Gamers has absolutely no difference...

However, I will also agree that Consol gamers will be HAPPY to have their games with a whole lot more simplicity...

Why ?

SIMPLE, EASY, FAST are keywords to Consol Gamers...

For example
They do not need to install Videocard drivers
They do not need to spend 10 to 45 minutes to Install and patch the game, then do it again after reformatting fresh if it didnt work the first time (due to the wonderful BF2 coding and stability)
They do not need to find out crazy ways of tweaking the crap out of their pc... or overclocking
They do not need to troubleshoot firewall issues, windows issues and so on...

For those reason, I will agree that Consol versions are Dumbed down... however that does not meen anything about maturity because So many pc gamers are freaking 14 year old kids with no respect and think they are all 1337 u5ing cr4sy 741k and sh!7 lol...

i own some consoles, but no fps games...cause...well i like my mouse and keyboard lol. Anyway....those..."awards"....ha....HAHAHHA....tha t was funny....most are the same medals only "first class" versions...and the ribbons....HAHHAH....participate in 50 games! complete 5 major victories....oh man...how retarded lol

The Console and the PC community have a lot in common. (They are the same damn people!)

I own both a PC, and a Gamecube, which I enjoy equally. Super Smash Bros., Metroid, and I cannot wait for the next Zelda.

...and yes, I'm a grown man. (20). There is absoluetly nothing wrong with consoles in any regard (Although, their games are usually "dumbed down"; this is to approach a wider audience seeing as they don't have the luxury of mods).

Just play what you like people, and shut up about what other people are playing. This is an age old battle that just seems to bring "Fanboyism" into the open and give it a forum for venting.

my overall point my friend is just to point out the difference in the two and how clearly you can see one is tailor made for the PC and the other for a console game. I didn't create this thread in order for it to be a console vs. pc argument. I too own a PS2 and the only reason I have it is the GTA series and Gran Turismo, a little NFL Blitz on the side too, I also prefer the PC for 90% of my gaming needs. But hey that's just my opinion.
