    Usb??

My Headset/mic just died out when I was playing BF2 so im on the internet looking for a new one.

I have the "2 ZS" and was wondering if I can get a USB mic and still enjoy my "2 ZS" power, since its not connected direct?

A yes or no question would do cuz I need to get a new one fast since I use mic's for more then just gaming. but Please Only Answer if you know what your talking about.

    -Thanks

No, USB headphones don't connect to the soundcard so you don't get the "2 ZS" power.

Get a real headset and a separate mike maybe?

I have a pair of Sennheiser cans connected to an Audigy 2 ZS (Plat?) and a separate Logitech USB mike, works well.

The reason I have a separate mike is for when we Skype home, we put it on speaker and everyone can hear instead of just the one wearing the headset, and if you want to be on just cans that works too. Different setups for different people, I guess!
