I really dont care if dolphin diving is illegal or not ITS JUST PLAIN WRONG.
I get so frustated at this game while watching ****heads like that, Im not sure why Im still playing. I quess it has something to with the patch and EA promising to put a stop to it.

Well I just witnessed someone doing it. There is no way that they could have been dolphin diving without some kind of macro. This guy was literally flying across the ground.

People who play like this should be reported to EA and have their stats wiped.

Nobody's ever been banned or had stats reset for dolphin diving.... It's no more illegal than bunnyhopping or using the noobtube like an asshat. Lame, yes. EA going after individual players for it, no. There's no way to prove anyone's using a G15 or other programmable controller.

Actually, it does state that use of a macro is an offence that can invalidate your license (get yer arse banned).

There are infact ways of proving macro use. If a BR video was taken of what these guys are reporting, you'd have no doubt too. No one can DD at a super high speed that's sustained for 3 minutes at a time and still be able to fire accuratly.

Even if they can, they need someone to take their game away from 'em so they can GO OUTSIDE! :p

I was just finishing a really complicated macro for my kboard and joystick. All you'd have to do with it is **** your joystick or arrowkeys from left to righ as fast as you can (the faster the better) and you'd win the round and get superb K/D..

This would've made BF2 as much fun as those Commodore 64 sports games. Too bad ...

It's been a long time since some dude was able to dodge my DAO12 by bunnyhopping/pronespamming...
but I hope that those macros will not be possible anymore with the new patch.

yeah thats what i thought too, using a tool which keybinds does not sound like cheating to me, simply means he cant be arsed pressing the buttons or say typing a full message. i this was the case it would have been removed altogether from all games do i think your talkin out yer bum.

Prove it. Where is the official documented support to your claim of macros being defined as a hardline cheat that can have you hardware banned? I'm betting it doesn't exist. Until then, no one can take your comments to bear any validity beyond that of someone simply being bitter because DD'ing occurs and you don't agree with it. Tough.

What's the difference between DD'ing once or thirty time in a row and maintaining accuracy? There is none unless your basing your comments on said players fingers becoming exhausted? Yeah, macros or not, it's really not tough to maintain a DD and shoot at the same time.

I love unsubstantiated claims like this guy's post. "Macros will get you banned"......I've heard it all now. Do you have any idea how deeply macros are entrenched in gaming?

And no, I don't use a DD macro. However, I do use a macro to switch seats and fire the laser guided bomb in the bombers. Oh noes, Imma get banned for the advantage I have.
