also if your a sci fi fan theres shatterd faith aswell, but i dont think we'll see that for awhile!

what mods have did you play before? i was a big DC freak so I have a keen eyeball on DCON.

FH2 looks great but im just sick of ww2 at this stage. but i still may try it when its released.

but tbh im also getting a litte bit sick of the whole US vs MIddleEast stuff, and it seems POE2 will answer me there. i just cant ****ing wait for this bad boy to come out. never played POE but the stuff ive seen for its sequal just look so damn good!

its going to be veeeeeeeery intersting to see which mod become the most played/ king of mods for bf2

all i know is is that it wont be the "king" by far!

Care Bears Beta 2 came out the other week, you can download it Here. The official name of the mod is BattlePaint, beta includes one map (Rainbow War).



Note: I am in no way associated with this mod, but someone might find it fun :-) Made me laugh just looking at the screenshots. Not sure why it didn't make the news at totalbf2

Project Reality is simple great, but it doesn't work with 1.2. So now you must wait for the version 0.25 (coming soon).

Antoher good mod is Desert Conflict CTF, in 0.2 version. It doesn't work too, but there is a patch for the mod (0.22). You must download and install 0.2, and then download and install 0.22 (0.22 could not work if 0.2 isn't installed).

I'm waiting for POE2 and US Intervention. The others are just fun mods, for one game or two, while POE2 is a mod which will stay on servers.
I know Forgotten Hope 2 too, but with a bad nvidia 5200FX, it don't interest me at all (please, God, make my mother buy 7800GS AGP ! )

yes a mod has it's own directory and any modified files are in it not the main BF2 one.

I personally can't wait for Eve of Destruction 2, Forgotten Hope 2, Battlefield Pirates 2, and Battlefield Apocalypse.

First strike looks pretty sweet too...also as far as total conversion mods, there is that WWII mod CE ledgens, thats kinda interesting (not many servers, but its kool because there are these huge zepplins that you can drive around!!)

Unforunately right now, the 1.2 BF2 Patch screwed up alot of mods, they are working on hotfixes.
