Kit change after revive

it often happens, you been shot, a medic comes along an revives you. but instead of being spec ops you are now a sniper, or whatever. i can only assume that i have picked up a kit that a dead soldier has left behind. is it also possably to pick up a kit you see lying on the ground.

also how do i take screen shots

Hit 'PrntScrn' to take screenshots.

And hit the 'g' key (by default) to pick up a kit. You must be near one in order to pick it up though. Note that all objects associated with that kit will become yours (mines, claymores, c4, med packs, etc.).

Yeah... I think EA should release a patch that allows us to revive with our ORIGINAL kit, rather than some randoms that had left one behind nearby.

It also happens when you get people like me, who see someone hit the dirt, then grab their kit hoping it was a dead medic they can revive, then one of the real medics comes over and picks them up, and they're wondering why they're holding a PKM while I'm over building a carbomb. :P

If it's because of a nearby kit.... So what? Pick your kit back off the ground and go back to shooting.

I always remeber to use droped kits.

If I see a medic or supply kit ill pick it up toss some bags then pick my kit back up. Also do that with enemy packs, if I kill a doc, I take his bag to heal what dmg I migh thave had with the fight with him or sustained before, toss some medic bags around, make a revive to my team if close then pick back up my original kit.

Also spawning into an area with a kit for a job (engineer, AT, SPec Ops) then after I dont need it hunt for left kits, Also Ill pick up snipers kits if I see a good oppurtunity, pop a shot off then switch back etc..

Evidently, "toothmeat" complains.

Anyone that complains, I invite to hit the Enter button and locate the Suicide button. If they'd rather be dead than change kits, then nothing I'm doing is stopping 'em.

I don't think so. I was referring to medics who complain about getting revived with a different kit.

also how do i take screen shots

hit the print screen key, it copies what is being displayed on screen. But you have to paste it in a picture editing program like MS paint before you make another screenshot

I messed around with this some. It appears when you die and get rezzed you pick up whatever kit was closest to yor hitbox. Sometimes when a comrade or enemy dies right on you, you pick up their kit. Just hit 'g' and it should switch you back to your original kit.

You can't suicide while dead can you?

It seems to allow you to cough while dead from the gas, so maybe they should let you suicide when you're dead.
