EA is up to something, maybe patch on time ??

They are busy bees lately at EA/Dice , suddenly people get extra unlocks, then ranks apear in stat system, and now this is stated on BF2player

It looks like EA is getting ready to distribute the patch and/or the booster pack. Their site has been showing "During the next couple of hours, we'll be busy upgrading our equipment and providing maintenance to our site." for at least 3 hours, maybe longer. The EA Downloader has also been unable to connect.

Either that, or they're just doing regular maintenance. You never can tell these days. None the less, I'm going to be keeping my eyes out for the booster pack to be available for preorder, assuming they do it this time.

maybe the patch is going to be release tomorow, they inished some stuff soner then they think they would, or let some stuff out, who knows

No. It's already been confirmed that the patch is necessary for the booster pack to work.

indeed, no booster pack before patch, booster pack code is already written to fit patch, and patch is probably also needed to install booster pack

I think Fridays have been the official patch release days with BF games.
