[NEW RANKS] Someone post the actual points needed for each rank

I've been looking through all the threads re: new ranks and I can't find actual point totals showing where the new ranks are and where my rank will be, i.e. I have 21,000 global pts and ranked First Sgt. Where will I be after the patch?

The general consensus for the point breakdown is:
1st Lt. 75,000
Captain 90,000
Major 115,000
Lt. Colonel 125,000
Colonel 150,000
Brigadier General 180,000
Major General 180,000 + Expert Vehicle Badges
Lt. General 200,000
General 200,000 + Expert Kit Badges + Expert Knife

So in all likelihood you'll still be a first sergeant, but it's all up in the air at the moment.

WtF are you sure that it are the vehicle badges
because thats a long time before you all have them

What did I just say? Those aren't the official numbers, calm down there turbo. It's also rumored that EA will be changing some of the requirements for some badges.

The problem is the time, in most cases I will have the score for a rank, but not enough time to get a badge .

I have 100 hours less played than some guys with more score than me.

Yeah, I agree, it would be nearly impossible to get all the expert kit badges before reaching 200k points. Unless you spent 100 hours idle for each class.

It's very possible to get them all before 100,000 kit wise, not vehicle. I guess vehicle would be possible too, but it would be tough.

And no one has posted an official score/requirement list yet.

It's probably...

20,000 - 1st Sergeant

30,000 - Sergeant Major

45,000 - Sargeant Major of the Corps

60,000 - 2nd Lt

Or something like that...

let's do the math. SPM = Total Scores / Total Minutes

so SPM = 200K / (100 hours x 7 x 60) , in case some ppl dont know where we got this 7 from, there are 7 classes in total.

SPM = 4.7619

that means if your SPM is higher than that number, you will not be able to get all the expert kit badges when you reach 200K, if your SPM is lower than 4.76, then you will get all the expert kit badges by the time you reach 200K, unless you've spent too much time on certain kits. by "too much", i mean those unnecessary hours over the required 100 hours.

now check your SPM.

u dont need to kill two enemies per minute. u can also capture flags or be a medic whore. but average players still dont have a SPM higher than 4.

My SPM is 3.35 and my Kills per min is 1.25 so im close? lol
