What's the deal with wireless?

I've had wireless and then I couldn't connect most of the servers now i have with cable and i still have the same problem. Other people on this forum have the same problems why is this?

well i have wireless and i play fine BUTTT when my brother tries it on his PC he alwys looses connection after 10 mins ..

But maybe the problem is first you play with wireless and then with cable.
