Help! server connection problems!

Since I've begin playing Battlefield 2, I've been having connection problems for some odd reason. Every time I try to connect to a server most of the time it will say that "You have lost your connection to the server" I don't understand why though. I rarely have problems logging into the account server but its just logging into the servers that gives me problems. I tried ask EA for help but... they never responded to my questions! I tried various way to fix it myself but no luck . I appreciate anyone who would look into it for eternity!

no 100% wired, altho there is wireless connection to parent's laptop.

6-8 pm seems like a prime time for people to use their 2.4 ghz phones :) I don't know about about your router, but my D-Link resests every time the wireless connection is interrupted
