I was in GA sever playing Karkland as US. I made it to factory and was camping on the crane waiting for squad mates (i was SL) to join me.
so after about 5mins I suddnely get 2 death messages.
only I was alive and had been for ages.
I think the problem was that when they joined my squad instead of the player name has joined your message coming up the death one came up instead, it even showed up in the top corner where all the kills show.

hmm...interesting, this has actually been reported before. Try a search.

Other than that, I couldn't help you!

One thing though, did these "deaths" get added to your score in the tab list?

This has happened to me before, on SF (ghost town) i was 'killed' when i was in an APC after i had just escaped from a tank :\ it DID add a death, soon after i died for real, and that added another death.

I was seriously thinking WTF, I was on teamspeak at the time. :/

yeah it has happend to me before and i have seen screen shots of the same happening to other people.

new bug maybe, abount an hour ago I was in a different sever and it happened to a squad mate????

some time i get teamkilled by artillery even though im still alive and sometimes it says 'vote succesfuly by default: jonnysanchez has left the game'

this is something that happened to me


i was on karkand and was in an apc...then it blew up

my M16A1 target came up but i couldnt shoot or see myself... then i clicked and it went to the weapon selection screen and i was dead...

I wonder if this is the same bug as another bug where you get kills for doing absolutely nothing.
