EA had nothing to do with this change, as they are the publishers. thank DICE, who actually make/change the game.

i dont think the changes in the patch are prominent enough to scare people off. i do like the changes that will f*ck the toob/bunny/dolphin whores right up the a$$

I love the newbtoob. After the patch, I'll still be using it along with my g36c and DAO. Adapt and overcome, which is how I've always played this game.

What I think will be funny is the number of people that rely on bunny hopping in close quarters will likely be cursing for the first little while. Over the last 2 weeks, I've seen more of that than I had the first 7 months of playing this game.

I'm happy with the changes and based on the fact that the majority of this game is geared towards infantry attack and not air, the helis and jets deserve all the hp reductions they recieved. Only 4 players out of a whole team can remain airborne IAR and in a 64 player server, that leaves 56 players who aren't going to get into the air, approximately. Why should they be soooo overpowered. A really excellent pilot will still be able to win the round for his team and kill to his/her hearts content, but all those sub par whoring pilots who just try to camp spawns/flags and rack up points will be stifled. As far as the bunnyhopping dolphin diving gp'ers, they now have to learn to play with skillz. Thanks Dice/EA, you guys must have been reading the forums, you've answered our prayers.

I'm Staying, as it's getting a huge fix that will make all Nub TooBErs and DOlphin Divers Obslete!

Because of airplanes getting nerfed, Heli's too, im sure some of the hardcore fly boys will find a new game. what do you think ???

I don't think a healthpoint nerf's gonna matter for planes until they stop flying faster than stinger missiles. The problem with jets isn't that they survive too easily, it's that nothing can hit them except the Essex and other jets.

its the best thing in battlefield to nail some little guy with a L85 from the tallest building in warlord, maybe a mile away from where he is.

heh, I've got 3 kills so far by launching it straight up and using it as a mortar. It goes about 50ft forward, and it's hillarious knocking someone off the roof with a shot that takes like 20 seconds to land.

I think anyone who quits 'cause of this patch will not be missed in any way.

indeed, there will be some noob tubers and stuff quiting because it will get frustrating for them (not beeing able to kill anymore) , but I think there will be lots of players returning to BF2 knowing there isn't so much whoring and crap anymore
