Think about this though.... the less people that play the game, the less likely EA will continue to support the game until eventually there is no BF2.

I think the patch will bring more people in that chase people off.

I personally know 3 guys that are currently refusing to play BF2 until the patch comes out. If it's good, they wanna get in there and PLAY. If it sucks... well, there will be 3 more slightly used copies of BF2 on E-bay.

I'd rather play for 3 more months without the Bunnyhopping, Noob-Tubing, Dolphin-Diving pricks, than play for 5 more years dealing with Peter the Rabbit chasing me down a sidestreet in Karkand with his trusty M203.

ok, first off, i love the grenade launcher, but i use it at medium to long range, 50-500 feet, preferably from high altitude or parachute.

its the best thing in battlefield to nail some little guy with a L85 from the tallest building in warlord, maybe a mile away from where he is.

so much fun working the trajectory.

thing is, i NEVER use it close in, unless im fighting bunny hopper and dolphin divers, and even then only in emergencies, like when theyre spawn camping me.

This game plainly and simply rocks, anyway you slice it. you can avoid all those gooberish hoppers, divers, and tubers, you just need to place yourself somewhere else in the battle, try different roles and stuff.

this patch as before mentioned wont drive any of the real players away, only exploiters, and LAMERS......

The good thing about the new patch is alot of things. But the one i think will improve will be teamwork, cuz if u want ur air support from the jets, most likely some ppl are gona have to take care of the AA vehicals and try to avoide the jets from getting shot down. but also more ppl will and should get into squads and play as a team helping each other cap flags, and no more annoying frogs, THANKS EA! u have made my month, also for the stats wipped of some certain ppl. Keep up the good work.

Aircraft didn't need lowered hitpoints nor did helis need less missiles...they just needed to fix the missile code....ok maybe planes need less hp...but choppers don't they aren't that hard to shoot down...
