HUD removal when using fraps

is it possible to remove all the huds if you are wanting to record with fraps?

im pretty sure i saw a thread where someone said it was possible by typing something in console

i wud use BR. however on this particular project i need a 1st person view


btw- i did do a search but found no details on this topic

I expect NeoRicen to show up momentarily...

However, BL can't do first person can it? Soooo, fraps is the only answer here.
Press ` and then type renderer.drawhud 0

Yeah, you can only do first person using Fraps, the BattleRecorder doesn't support it.

insert that baby into the console and it will take out the hud, but still show your hand and weapon. thats the first person view you need right?

Lol, I don't hate Fraps I just hate it when it's used in Battlefield 2. But if you want first person it's the only way to go, so go for it.

And it's not BattleLauncher that can't do 1st person, it's Battlefield 2's Battlerecorder which is what BL uses.
