    Music from BF2

I would really like to get the "welcome to duty" on my system start up...does anyone know where I can get it?

Also, If you know where the BF theme song is located also, I would like to have that for system shutdown.

Yep, I know where the theme song is:

      c:\program files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\common_client.zip\sound\menu\music\menu _music.ogg

it is an ogg file so you must convert it to mp3 first. But yeah, it has all the music there so, um...Yeah. I recommend using Jet Audio to convert it cause it's fast, free and very good!

for the .bik, use bink to convert it to avi, then use jet audio to make it mp3

            C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies\welcome.bik

When you finish this, can you tell us how to do it for ourselves, and upload the file, The welcome to duty sound upon startup actually would be pretty cool.

                      for .bik files use this
RAD Game Tools' web page. RAD makes Bink Video, the Telemetry Performance Visualization System, and Oodle Data Compression - all popular video game middleware.
