The only thing wack about EA's stat system is that people have found ways to exploit it and now some have been dealt with. I think most people like the ranking/stats etc. If you cheat you run risks, hope it was worth it...

I don't understand you x0pht. How can you honestly defend someone who was blatantly cheating? There were cheating, they were delt with. However stupid it is to dance in cricles about it, it's equally stupid for defend a cheating population.

Futhermore, why don't you take your Sig. to heart and apologize and admit the mistakes of the groups you're affiliated with instead of attacking anyone who's stating the obvious.

Unfiortunatly, it's called reaping what you sow. Nastie makes no bones about being proud to be an arse. He said so several times. That's his whole issue and why people are so happy to dance on his grave.

I at one point I attempted to pass along a little golden piece of advice that my Father gave me; "If you don't want to be treated like an arse, don't be an arse."

Nastie's reply; "I can't counter that."

Dude, so made me wanna... well, ya know.

Anyway, best ta take a step back and try not ta get any on ya. I know he's a clan mate 'n all, maybe even a good guy in person, but he's simply tweaked off too many people.

secondly, im not defending anyone, im stating the truth too. as i said in the other thread, I've been playing with vengence and nastie for several months, i know how they play, they never padded for points, they dont need to. you wont be needing that either when you reach over 200K.

...and to address that question, I've thought about getting a new ID because I'm still ticked that I got two vet badges while commander that had nothing to do with earning them properly. But I go on with my existing ID, if for no other reason than some people know me by it and can find me online to join me in a server. For the record, I'm a lowly Sgt. I have a handful of medals and ribbons, but nothing spectacular. I'm coming up on Staff Sgt soon.

Similarly, I dont have those stupid stats sigs because I'm not trying to validate myself in reference to the rest of the world. BF2 is not my life. I just enjoy the game and hope for a good round or two.

But I will never have my stats reset because I don't pad. If anything, I'm harder on myself than EAs game/system allows.

Funny thing is the whole account resetting episode will do nothing. They will all be back up there, stat wise, again soon using the same cheap tactics. They will learn nothing from it.
Kinda makes me think that Papa Smurf needs to educate his little smurfs on the importance of life lessons. Learn from your mistakes. Lala-lalalala..

Rightly or wrongly, getting boned sucks either way.

well, i agree with you. however these ppl who are dancing on nastie's grave havent even been ****ed by nastie. they havent played with him. they dont even know him. they are just like some ppl that love to see bad things happening to others so they can just sit there and laugh about it. like those who love to read tabloids and spread rumours about celebrities, in this case, top ranked players. that's my point dude. that makes me disgusted.
