Crash to desktop, need help

Ok I've done just about everything I can think of to fix it but it doesn't work. I have :
Reinstalled the game
Updated drivers
Deleted BF2 Folder in MyDocuments

My computer specs are :
Intel P4 3.2ghz
Nvidia 6800GT 256MB
1GB of RAM

At first, the error I got was the usual 800x600@60hz. I changed it to 800x600@100hz and I was able to get in the game in windows mode on fullscreen 0. When I exited BF2 and changed it to fullscreen 1, the screen flashed black twice and sent me right back to the desktop. I can play perfectly fine on windows mode on fullscreen 0 but cant play on fullscreen 1. If anyone has any information that would help me, I would appreciate it.

I ended up reformating my entire computer to fix this. I also discovered that I cannot install any of the newer nvidia drivers. They wont install. Ended up using the 77.77 drivers but now I can play again.

Nevermind, I fixed it. I just went into my ReForce and clicked "Restore Original Settings" but I didn't click apply and instead just closed it and it worked.
