    Minimap?

I checked FAQ and that was no help :P. Any idea how I create the ACTUAL image of the map from a birdseye view?

    Re: Minimap?

Ya the one in the Faq is not correct with the minimap title.

On the right side of editor window there is a minimap section - click show - it will then show a minimap in your editor - this generates your minimap.

Then navigate to your level folder and inside your editor folder there is a file called "minimap.dds" copy that file to your Hud>Minimap folder.

Delete the "ingameMap.dds" file and rename the file you just copied "minimap.dds" to "ingameMap.dds" - Fire up your level in BF2 and now you should have a minimap for your level.

Anytime you make major adjustments to your map - you must do the process over again to reflect the changes in the minimap.

Don't forget if you would like alot of the statics to show you will need to raise the objects up to around 400-500 m. To do this up top in level editor, go to layers/select all in layer. Raise your objects up until you are satisfied with your minimap generation. Then close out your editor (** DONT SAVE IT OR ELSE YOUR OBJECTS WILL BE SAVED FLOATING**)
