Hi guys, hopefully one of you can help me out.
I just got back from a friends' house after updating his pc.
He has a Sempron 3100
Radeon X600 Pro 128MB
ASUS K8N4-E Motherboard
512 MB Hynix DDR 400
80 GB Maxtor
480W PSU
The problem is, as it says in the thread title. His pc starts the game fine, allows you to login and then as soon as you either attempt to join a multiplayer game or start a singleplayer game it returns to the desktop. No messages or anything. Just straight back to desktop.
He has XP Pro installed and it was a fresh install today, Catylist drivers 6.1.
It is really doing my head in, plays all other games fine including COD2 and FEAR.
It first seemed to me to be a heat issue but the GPU is cool to the touch and the Processor is running at only 27 degrees celsius. The only thing that i have seen that is a bit strange is in 'Ea EasyInfo' which puts his 128 card at 256?
