I played bf2 for a while and then stopped, and it worked completely fine when i stopped 2 or 3 months ago. Now when i try and play it freezes before anything even comes up, like the right after you click on the shortcut to play the black screen comes up like its going to start but then it stops responding. I unistalled it and tried playing and it worked fine, but when i added the patches v1.03 it freezes. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?, oh and i only have bf2, not bf2: special forces, if that means anything. Thanks

I got the same problem..i reformatted my pc and updated all my drivers...also i updated bf2
now the whole pc locks up when tryin to play bf 2 but it only occurs on multiplayer....
my specs amd3200
1 gd ram
6600 nividia
