Medal requirements lowered....today???

I received the Golden Scimitar today...at exactly 450 MEC wins. I check my brothers stats and he has 472 MEC wins, and also got the Scimitar today.

So, along with our 2 new black-out unlocks, it apears some requirements, at least this one, has been reduced.

No.. they haven't been re-reduced since the last patch. I got mine some 3 months ago with the same requirements

I played only 3.5 rounds this evening...1/2 a Chinese map, 1 US, 1 MEC(we won, my 450th win), and 1 US again.

Total MEC time for me as of the latest updated stat site with my Scimitar is 271:08:05...........and my brothers MEC time is 260:23:40 with 472 wins.

The fact that we both got it only this evening, shows that something changed...as my brother had over 450 wins and 250 hours prior to tonite, he should have gotten it sooner, why both of us just for playing a MEC map?

So, for all we know it could be less than 450 wins and 250 hours now. That is just my coincidence with that win number.

this happen before 1.03 patch came out, people got a bunch of awards due to the lowered requirements

That is precisely why I made this thread...it "seems" in addition to a patch, new unlocks...we might have even lower requirements than the 1.03 patch as mentioned previously, for some awards at least.

Some gameplay elements are changed in the new patch, so I guess they might lower requierments for some awards too that are affected by changes..

i hate that you have to paly certain hours before getting a medal... only freaks that paly 3-4 h aday can get those medals... not skill based at all
