Punkbusted

Hi all.

I recently had problems with BF2 the game stutterd constantly once loaded into a round as if i was lagging massivley.

I unisntalled re-installed and all was well. Playing for a couple of days now without fault.

Then this morning whenever join a server i get kicked with the following message.

Muddyfunster has been kicked via punkbuster ( for 0 mins )

Restriction: Blocked O/S Priveleges 508:430

I have no idea what this means.

I do not cheat in any way what so ever. I also do not have punkbuster installed. (but i never have either).

Any clues on what im doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Well, punkbuster gets installed with the game, but you probably need to manually update it. Go to www.punkbuster.com, select BF2, and download the PBsetup file. Running it will update your game and the stuttering should stop.

I managed to stop the stuttering before this problem started by uninstalling and reinstalling bf2.

I have just updated PB as adviced but it is still kicking me from servers and giving me the same messag.

Is the account on Windows that you're using an administrator account?

No im not on an Admin...

It just started this morning. Just decided to stop lettimg me play. I am in contact with punkbester aswell see what they come up with
