Ranks bugged?

I cannot get my basic anti-tank and basic assault badges. I am currently Master Sergeant with 26,000+ global points. I have all basic badges except for those listed above. I have killed over 30 people in any given round as either class, and still do not receive my basic assault or anti-tank badges.

*Requirements for First Sergeant:
· Basic Knife *completed
· Basic Pistol *completed
· Basic Assault *cannot get
· Basic Anti-Tank *cannot get
· Basic Sniper *completed
· Basic Spec Ops *completed
· Basic Support *completed
· Basic Engineer *completed
· Basic Medic *completed

Basic Badges
:Basic Assault Combat Badge *10 kills in 1 Round as Assault Class.
:Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge *10 Kills in 1 Round as Anti-Tank Class.

I also have Spec Ops, Does it make a diff what unlocks i use as assault and anti-tank kits? I have also tried only using 1 wep in each round (ie:rifle or sraw all round long).

It would not matter if you got them or not, you cannot be promoted to 1st sgt. You must get the required badges before the promotion at 20,000 points. Same applies for 50,000 with sgt major/master gunnery sgt.

the same thing has happened to me.

i've got 103 hours as AT, i got over 50 kills IAR, didnt get the expert AT, then i tried again, i got over 60 kills IAR, still no badge, so i'm done for today, hope i'll get better luck tomorrow.

My guess: You have these badges already, but they didn't show up in the
awards box. Go to BF2s.com and check your status by moving the mouse
pointer over the missing badges, then you will see more details on what could be the problem. Otherwise keep playing these kits until you have 15h play time each and try to get silver badges. I got a few ribbons, which also never showed up in the medal case.
Also, make sure that the server was really ranked. Some show the ranked sign but they are not (or not anymore).

did they ever fix the bug, where if you have expert anything, you can get promoted to 1st Sgt, or am i doomed to never being recognized as a 1st. Sgt.?

the same thing has happened to me.

that happend to me with my expert specops specialist. I didnt get it till my 3 time exceeding the requirements. and SF experts arent as easy as vanilla. usually you gotta camp the **** out of people on warlord. :laugh:

I always let my hour requirements "cook" a little while before I frustrate myself attempting to get the kills.

Usually a few hours over is what I have noticed is needed for nearly all the gold stuff.

At least half a dozen times I have gotten stiffed despite having all requirements because I tried just after 100 hours rolled over. But, as we all know sometimes it works within seconds after your time has been met.

Better safe than sorry...

SWEET i have all my bagdes at Sergeant i'm Staff Sergeant
now going on to Gunnery sergeant in 700 pionts or so . but i'm haveing prob's with the
The Valorous Unit Ribbon i just can not get it ....?????:cry: any tips ???

I'm having the same problem with the vetran knife badge...over 60 knife kills and still only have teh basic badge.
