For the person who wanted to unlock the MP7. The MP7 is a tier 2 unlock. That means you have to unlock the Jackhammer before you get the M7. I hope that clears it up.

I got the blank screen on unlocks with MG36 above. Looked at the unlock before, and well it said MG36 aswell so I clicked on the blank screen to see what happened.
And well I did not get an unlock so in other words i may of been coned out of an unlock because of a bug or something. EA better give me a unlock point back, in other words also. I got 1 unlock out of 2 points.
While the other unlock point has been used on nothing at all. I must take some of the blame, but EA must take some of the blame aswell.
Because one of there bugs has affected another BF2 player.
I dont know if anyone else had posted this (mainly because im to lazy to read). I think that these new unlocks are for the 2 new guns coming out with the patch, so maybe EA gave people these 2 new unlocks to see if people would save them till the patch comes out.

Here's a thought...........maybe EA/Dice should have put this information in their little "special message" ADVERTISEMENT that we all see when we login. If they had done this, people would have known what was going on. Just a thought.........
IT's not a BUG! You need to read the whole thread. They have simply put in "place holders" for the new guns. They are getting the servers ready before the patch for the new unlock content. Those who chose both of the "free" unlocks are screwed if you didnt select one of the "place holders" (blank ones). Of course its a fifty fifty chance if you picked a placeholder which new gun you will get...
Why do they need new place holders for the new guns? The 2 new unlocks are for SF owners; if you own SF and have already unlocked Anti-tank and sniper then you'll get the new weapons.
Yep thats why I saved my 2 unlocks and if They give us another one then I'll use my 3 at that time. If not then I have 2 and still get to pick.. :) better to wait on things like this.
Oh and that EA post wasnt in depth enough alot of people read it and still went WTF!! They need to break it down and explain.
