That green monitor is the MD5 checksum, not dedicated server.

2.type of cpu the server is hosted by square: windows: pinguin: linux 64: linux 64

What does serverload mean? I search for this thread to find out why I haven't been able to use mic recently in game (since I started using XFire) and I thought these symbols might have something to do with it.

As long as the headset symbol is there I'm good with VOIP right?

Serverload = Cpu usage.
Headset = Voip enabled
Green monitor = Pure server (will kick for modified files)

dedicated is when it shows a rectangular computer, linux is the penguin
not sure what the 64 is, might be mac

type of server is if it is a windows or linux server, and deticated or not means, when it is dticated, the server is only running as BF2 online server , when it is not detecated, there are or other games running on it or just some websited hosting

I don't mean to sound stupid but I still don't understad the second one (type of a server) and the last one (dedicated or not).

Now, THIS is a good thread. all this time I've been wondering about that, and also wondering why the server is so laggy n such all the time. Plus- explains why the admin was never really an admin. :P

Is there any way to tell if a server has the battle recorder working?

The All Seeing Eye has a filter for BR, but I don't think you can use the ingame filter.

It is not the green TV icon.

I have battle recorder checked on my filters. Some servers apparently do not have it configured properly, therefore you cannot dl the file.

The only one I have been able to work with is

85.133.16.47:16587

The problem is, most of the time, nobody is playing on the server.

I believe there is a battlerecorder option, i could be wrong though.
