hi,
the first time I installed bf2 everything was great. When I would shoot in the water with my gun I would see the "splash" that was in version 1.1 or 1.2 not the latest one 1.12. Then i formated my PC upgraded everything like usual and installed BF2 and upgraded the game to 1.12. No when I shoot in the water with my gun i dont see this splash anymore neither when im shooting while im in a blackhawk. But when im in a plane or the commanche I see the splashes...how come?? What can I do to have these splashes back???

I hope you all know what I mean by the splashes...

Hey mad72,

I know for a fact it's the result of changing a graphic setting to a higher setting.
I have no clue as to which one it is because I started running on high setting back in Oct '05.
Someone will know here or search the phrase "Splash in water" to see what you come up with.

It seems that this is a bug introduced in the last patch. No mention of a fix.

On the single player maps the water still splashes when you shoot it. Some reason it only got changed in mp after the latest patch.
