Yeah, well for a lot of us that means waiting until we've collected 20,000 - 30,000 points. That is just not fair. If the new patch had come out THEN got the 2 new unlock messages after installing it, I would have expected the new weapons to be there, and would have chosen them out of the list (as there would be 4 to choose from, rather than just the 2 at the moment for me). EA better resolve this problem, or else there's going to be a lot of VERY unhappy players out there.Originally posted by Lazy8s

Fook! I was hoping to save one of my unlocks for the P90, but instead wasted it on the MK3A1 and the MP7. Yes, that also means I'll have to wait another 30,000 points to rank up and get two more unlocks.

If enough people complain they probably will fix it by wiping everyone's ranks and making everyone start over. I know they didn't announce what those unlocks were but they did say it was going to happen and to be looking for it. I don't understand how everyone just thought it was christmas and are now upset. Why would they give you 2 free unlocks on febuary second 2006? It's not a special day or something. they MIGHT take the 2 unlocks away and let you do them again but it was my understanding from the last Dev interview that they can't do that kind of thing without recoding the whole system.Comment

Sorry about this, but i haven't read this thread yet. I unlocked 2 weapons today ( the jackhammer and the G36c) and i'm at Gunnery seargant. Does that mean that when the patch releases, i won't be getting any unlocks? If so DAMN cos i was w8ting for the p90 and the L96.Comment

I wonder if you just found the error that I was about to ask on. I think I just got screwed.
I'm a First Sargent and had 2 unlocks remaining. The MP-7 and Jackhammer. Since we were just offered 2 unlocks, I wanted the MP-7 but when I changed from the Jackhammer screen to what should have been the MP-7 unlock screen, it was blank. No problem I thought, maybe it's a SF thing since I was in Vanilla servers. So, I switched over to SF server client of the game. Still a blank unlock in the MP-7's space. I clicked it. And well I got the Jackhammer unlock instead! Imagine My surprise......
Then I got the second unlock screen, and it still had a picture of the Jackhammer. Well, My stupid self still went ahead and clicked it. The MP-7 still did not unlock. Looks like I got one for the price of two!
Also, my roommate also has the same prob since we are double dealers on servers we tend to think and kill alike. So, he unlocked the Jackhammer on the Jackhammer unlock screen. Got the Jackhammer, and then the MP-7 came up on his second unlock. He chose it, but the werid thiung about it was that the screen registered it as an medic weapon. Started playing, and it's an engineering weapon.
My question is how can i get the MP-7 that I deserve now? Have I permenantly lost my ability to unlock it? oh frak..... NEED HELP!Comment
