how to unlock lvl 3 guns?

Hey everyone,

I have looked through the forum here and have not really found what I was looking for so I decided to register and ask!

So to unlock lvl 3 guns do I need to buy Special Forces? I have read other threads here and they did not answer my question 100%.

I just don't want to go out, buy SF and it turns out that the guns don't switch over to my standard BF2. So this information would be greatly appreciated.

ALSO, say if buying SF does give the unlocks to the standard BF2, do I get any free unlocks?

First, this is the wrong board: This board is for questions directed at DICE, selected questions will be sent off to DICE to answer.
This board is not for general questions or technical issues.

Second: Yes, you get new unlocks to use in the original BF2 when you buy SF.
This unlocks are only available in the original BF2, not as unlocks in SF. They are the standard weapons for some classes of the SAS and Seals there.
You will get additional unlocks for your rank when you install SF.

uh..this is the right board, whats the point asking dice that question, they'll most likely say 'check the forums, this if for QUESTIONS, not questions. yes, SF guns can be used in BF2, if the server allows it. dice boards..pshh where else is he gonna go for 'general SF' questions '_'
