Real Blackhawks don't have miniguns!

Anyway, once the headset was taken care of, they showed me quickly how to handle/operate the simulator machine gun-- an FN M240 GPMG (7.62x51mm)--with my right hand while keeping my left hand on the edge of the window hole, so I could fire one-handed while lean forward and out like an actual gunner would. When I did lean out the window, as the aircraft took lifted off, I was hit by a gust of wind, just like a real gunner would be. This simulated wind increases and decreases according to the airspeed.


So, we lifted off the ship in a Navy MH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and headed for the shore.

Maybe they have different configurations because ive actually seen video footage of a BH in iraq and it looks like the same weapon we have on the BH in game and that thing in real life is 100 times more powerfull. The tracer rounds from the gunners view look like a lazor of sorts and it blows up civilian looking vehicals (pick up truck sort of thing) in a fraction of a second its that powerfull.

Yeah I've seen miniguns on blackhawks. Even when you do training mission for SF in AmericasArmy, you see miniguns on the blackhawk.

I think just incase some people have been mislead by EA people dont come back to life either and i am pretty sure those BH's without miniguns dont respawn, but you know lifes a bitch :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

They also have different machine guns, including a FN M240 7.62mm GPMG variant , M60 7.62mm Machine Gun variant(7.62x51mm), Dillon Aero M134D MiniGun (7.62x51mm gatling gun), and the FN M3M/GAU-21 .50 BMG/12.7x99mm heavy machine gun, so far.

I served in Iraq in 2003 and I saw Blackhawk’s with miniguns, and as BasherTarr has already pointed out, it's just a game.
