cd key help!!

I have my cd key, but I made a new windows user account. can someone give me exact directions to re enter my cd key. Or is the only option to re-instal the game and patches. My computer is slow and it would take me all day to re-install the game and download the patches. Is their a way.

I tried the registry way, stated in the sticky and I got the value, but how do I use it. Or the key on my manual for that matter?

i don't think its possible to do that, i've tried it, stuffed up my SF. did you try the registry on the new or old user?

You must play BF2 with the Windows account that it was installed with I'm afraid.
