Re: Installing BF2 without cd but have cd key

All you need is BF2 or SF in the CD drive to play.
No need to re-enter the CDKey if you already installed the game on your home PC.
        Will not be a problem.
Only time you could get problems is if some guy uses your game at uni and logs on with your useraccount while you're playing the game from at home.

I have BF2 installed at home and at work. I use the SF disk at work, and the Vanilla BF disk at home. As long as I don't use both PCs simultaneously there is no problem.

If you already have the game installed, then why are you asking about all of this?

If you mean to say that you installed the game previously and uninstalled it, then you can re-install with no problems. After all, this is YOUR CD key and it should be the same both before and after. Right?

The main this is that you'll need the original CD/DVD in the drive in order to play the game.

          This thread smells fishy.
