Hey people i am just wondering what is a good BF2 FPS and what are you people getting ???

A steady 50 fps is good. With a low at 40's in intense firefights.

Getting FPS from 50-60, 40+ is good frame rate

For me same as above.

The only time i notice any slow down is when a tank drives by with lots of dust and it gets bombed which greats more dust, but as Im more of a pilot its a rareity for me

As long as mine doesn't dip into the 30s for too long or below 30 it is perfectly playable, IMO.

No one around 90+, Group 60-90, heavy blinding fighting 40+

i hit 102+ when driving in a hummer or jeeps. but on average 1280X1024 i get around 50-90 with all high 4X AA 16X AF. but i also have a low ping DSL line since i can see the demark box from my window from the phone company so i get good pings almost always. on a LAN i get usually a constant 99+ but i have gig switches to my bf2 server during our lan party so that really doesnt count.

This sucks, my fps is usually 30 at all med settings

30-40 too slow for me :/

agree with all posters above . . .
if you play on foot 30 is minimum
if you fly - should have 60
and if u gun alot in helo
90 is best for re-guiding TVs
we have done LOTS and LOTS of testing
so, on our systems here at home
we gave up shadows to get avg of 90fps
(we fly alot)

50+ runnin around and about 30-40 in fire fights in towns. so not too bad. using fraps.
