1.12 patch Lag, Back to Square 1

Is the lag/hesitation problem because of the 1.12patch?? I have tried most of the fixes in this support forum, and a few worked for a while. I am still getting 15 FPS at crucial times during gameplay. I had better games with only 512 meg ram before SF came out. Is there a memory leak with the 1.12 patch? Thanks in advance,

ive had very similar results, wth the 1.03 patch i had less lag wth half the ram i do now, but when i go back to that amount of ram the lag is much worse.

it seems almost like performace deteriorates over time, especaily with some drivers.

Exact same deal here. Ive asked about it before and no one seems to know anything about it.

Its not the damn memory and its not drivers...just to save you guys some time.
