Hilarious mine action....

Don't know if this has been done before...

Was tooling around trying to invent new and funky ways to kill in Warlord map (I think that's what its called)... was at the palace (the building with 2 flags inside) as an engineer. I lay down a row of mines down one of the long passage ways including one around a corner - all close enough to blow up in unison.

I waited until 5 tangos appeared on UAV, waited until the last person was inside the kill zone and then lobbed a nade at the mine closest to me to set off all the mines. Blam! Human sushi! Goddamn that was funny!!! :laugh:

I was a bit worried when they were approaching that one of them might detonate my mines but I guess they were thinking who is this nob laying down mines indoors??!!!

lol, i was on warlord and i was seeing mines i was like wow this moron (i have seen it more than once this case probaly wasnt you lol) then i follow him into the room overlooking the front and then BOOM no more bad guys lol

i've mined peeps in iron gator. those ppl must have been ****ed thinking they have been killed by mines in a no vehicle zone :P

LOL - Love doing the ole mine trick. It is funny cos people WILL think your a noob for laying down mines INDOORS. But its soooo funny when you hear bang.
Make it ever better. Get someone else to toss the nad, your still get the kills. :)

I prefer C4. In the small corridors of the palace they have the same effect, except C4 can't be accidentally set off, which givesyou a tonne of tks as an engy. But that's just me.

Heheh, some bloke did this to me the other day and gave me a *wink* afterward. It won't work after the 1.2 patch, so enjoy it while you can!

I have done this before...but I think the most memorable time was when I got a kill from my indoor mines by the very idiot that set them off. I guess he lugged a grenade at them or tried to lug it into the room i was in, and it set off the mines...too bad they were too close to the mines and they killed em! :p

I like getting up on top of buildings in Warlord and waiting for tanks to come by. Then I drop C4 packs on top of them and blow them to the sky. There's also a great place in Leviathan (ammunition warehouse?) to C4 all around the flag and then get up on the ledge and wait. Tanks come in and usually assume that whoever set the C4's down is probably dead or gone, so they just waltz on it. And there I am, death incarnate, waiting for them to get close enough.......hee hee.

what you could have done is get a sniper to lay a claymore by the nearest mine, that way, you dont have to worry, and you can leave, knowing the claymore should set it off when they step into it

but the claymore would kill the person right? Wouldn't that counteract the whole purpose of the mines? Unless there was a group of people...

Can mines by detonated by bulltes? I emptied a pistol clip into one and nothing happened. Can C4's be detonated that way too? I've seen many SpecialOps guys drop a C4 and then die before detonating.

Intresting though, getting killed by mines indoors:P
