To tell you the truth I'm not sure. I may just set a date and give out a TS IP. Then whoever comes gets to be in the movie. Right now voices are a big priority and I'd love to have them and then I can give them the script and they can record the lines and then we can always just film the thing later. But we need a base of atleast 20-25 people to get the movie going so we're not just asking random people to come act. People with the will to do this and the patients to do this is what will make this a great movie.

ill wait no prob make sure you know what to do before you call us all in because it could get confusing and frustrating to you if you dont have a solid gameplan. and due to the fact that there are 20-25 others as you say maybe to them to.

i highly highly HIGHLY suggest that xalias do the editing. not relating it to this project, but no matter how crappily filmed, xalias can make it look A+ lol

Thanks, shame I don't have much media to back that up (the RazzamatazZ was a 1/2 hour show, but it's my only major release)

Talking of which, I just finished an experiment movie capture with bots. And I can tell you now, for being the dumbest ill-gotten A.I, they sure do make good movies!
I just constructed a scene with 4 MEC attack heli's fling in formation (5 if you count me flying with them too) They shoot, they die, they stand still for you while you drive over them. It's so successful I may consider bringing my James Hunt series over to battlefield 2 for a sequel. With fraps out of the picture for obvious performance reasons, it's going to be battlelaucher smoothness all the way through. It a very daunting movie to even think about at this stage...

BUT, I'm not here to talk about that!

First comes this movie, then RCT, then I will start thinking a little more into this leap into the unknown with Battlefield 2 again. Part of the challenge is shooting movie or these other games that don't have the
luxury of a "battle-recorder", everything as to be in real-time.
Like other movie makers have said, Battlefield 2 makes a great starting point for all training Spielberg's.

i agree with that there are ALOT of movies, far more than any other game. at least to my knowledge. so on a scale of 1-10, how far have we come and how close are we to filming. i think thats alot of peoples questions right now, no?

Right now the script is 99% done. All that is left is once part which is a voice over so basically all we need to do is get the filiming done. I'm going to try and rent a server for a day if that doesn't work does anyone possibly have a server we could use? However I'm sure I can get one. Once there is enough response from the bf2 community that we'll have enough actors I'll set a date. Whoever comes to TS will get a copy of the script. I think we will need about 20 people minimum to film but we can hold up to 32. So we will have room for everyone. Once I get a new webhost I'm going to make a forum for the movie to help organize things a bit better.

You are renting a new server?
I thought we were stating our pings on the server we were going to be filming on. That's the server I join and got a ping of 120. In that case my ping is much, much lower on a normal basis.
