Sorry for my near total lack of video card knowledge

What are the latest/best video card drivers for Nvidia cards? I know just enough about vcards to barely get by, I tried going here: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp yet I don't get which one I should d/l? :hmm:


Oh, and I have a Nvidia 6800, are all the new drivers just for the 7 series? (as you can see I know nothing about this )

Much like ATI Nvidia drivers are "all-in-one". That is they will detect the card you have and will install the appropriate files.

yes, the geforce is what you need. and as he said ^ it auto detects, if its geforce you are good.

With the 6800, you're pretty safe using the latest and greatest drivers. Every ForceWare release is a universal driver in that ALL GeForce and TNT2 cards are actually supported.
