    Hello!?!

2 things have been starting to get really annoying lately. Guys , teammates , soldiers HELLO!?!

One of the most annoying things during a round is to take a look at the map and notice 1 lonely lone wolf player capping a flag on the opposite side of the map nowhere near any teammates...soemtimes, even having the nerve to request reinforcements. Please Please Please! If you are alone at any cap point or have broken deep into enemy territory and are capping alone... just press "insert" on your keyboard and that will auto create a squad. This way the teammates can spawn on you. Ive played over 600+ hours and this has been an annoying thing to see but finally im getting about enough of this foolishness. Hell, you say "i dont like squads etc" then just create the dam thing and when the teammates have spawned and helped cap the point leave the squad!!!!
Countless times I see a lone blue dot deep in enemy territory ... He/She gets the enemy flag to go white - which usually only lasts a moment or so while that lonely lone idiot gets sent on a 15 second all expenses paid vacation back to respawn.

One more thing... If your gonna drive the armor / apc /tank why not be an engineer? you can both hop out to repair your armor when needed (instead of hopping out to give it to the enemy) OR EVEN BETTER YOU CAN REPAIR THE FRIENDLY ARMOR THAT IS FIGHTING ALONGSIDE YOU While YOU DRIVE!!!. Its annoying to be an engineer fighting along side a tank that you continue to repair while you could also be getting repaired but the other driver turns out to be .........A SNIPER!

Ofcourse there are players who will read this as obvious common sense info but there are so so so so so many who i encounter atleast once a round that arent too bright.

These are not tips. These are common sense complaints.

    HELLO!?!?

    * teamkilling a teammate - cost 2 points

    * getting punished for teamkilling - cost 2 points

    * watching a teammate plant c4 on the enemy tank, see the enemy driver abandon the armor and run away, watch the teammate still blow up the armor sending it back to the enemy instead of getting his dumb a$$ in?........ priceless

Yep sometimes it amazes me the amount of times on karkand people using the armor just dont spawn as engineers. Even if they keep dieing for the entire round and keep using it they still spawn as a sniper

            Re: Hello!?!

O.K. I agree with you on the aspect of being an engineer. I often see a medic drivin around in an APC. I'm repairing my ass off and get killed because he can't repair me.

Forming a squad while capping a lone flag is new to me and not common sense. Maybe i'm the noob here. Still a good tip. Though i often try to cap a flag with people doing god know's what in the area but capping the flag with me.

didn't you ever think about why they do -4 for TK and why - 6 for punish ?

or example, you run to a flag, some guy is already taking the flag, so you say, lets TK the moron, I just feel like it, you get -2 , you take flag, you got +2 , he punish you -2 , you make flag team, + 2 , you don't have lost any points, but you did TK on purpose and got punished .

This is why the TK is -4 an,d punish -6 , because you need to feel you TK's and couldn't TK without any loss of points .

Also, if TK was only -2 , there would be tons of more TK'ing for vehicles, you TK for chopper/jet/tank , -2 points, but who cares, 5 sec later you kill some guy and there are your points back .

for the rest : HELLO, welcome to thinking people instead of bla blaing people

I don't believe in teamwork. Large team = large target.

                  Re: Hello!?!

What's with the common misconception of losing extra points getting punished for a tk? You don't lose extra points for getting punished.

                  Team damage = - 2
You must take 50% shooting a team member but not killing them.

                  Team kill = - 4
                  Killing a team member
Punishing does not take away more points. Each team kill that is punished adds to the total amount that is allowed by the server until a player is kicked. (Usually you must be punished 3 times before a kick is warranted)

                  Team damage + Team kill = -6
If you kill a teammate with something that gradually takes his health away you will first be given a Team Damage – 2 and then a Team Kill – 4 equaling – 6.
A grenade or GL will not gradually take away health, therefore “instant team kills” will only give you – 4.

This also bugs when 'team' mates destroy abandoned enemy armor apc etc.. for no reason! this just sends it back to spawn... shiny, new and fully loaded! Go figure...

An easy solution would be to disregard time played as a class when in a vehicle unless you're an engineer, and otherwise just count being in the vehicle as a class all of it's own.

Hell, I don't even agree with using the commander position to get those badges. I've said it 6 billion times on these forums and I still stand by it--

What is the point of an award if you did not earn it.

Stat padding especially baffles me in this aspect.

Awards have gotten way out of hand. I wish they'd take it out entirely sometimes, but some of it can be a help to gameplay and when used properly it feels really good to earn something casually.. Unfortunately this is rarely the case.

You know how many times I have had an EMPTY squad, sitting by myself trying to cap a flag and saw a bunch of lone blue dots sitting on the carrier, or better yet, hanging out at the airfield?

IMHO...The sense of teamplay (what little there was) is all but gone in this game. Everyone wants 200k Global score and no one wants to win a round. They just want 100 kills in a jet or a chopper. It's every man for himself all the time now and it's killing the game for me. I think they should offer more rewards for being on the winning team. Perhaps cut the score of the losing team in half? This might give some of the jerks who don't want to play the incentive to move their butts and win a round once in a while.

                          Re: Hello!?!

                          Armor/Apc = Engineer
Humvee/transport unit = Medic *Can also be replaced with Support
                          Helicopter/Plane = Special ops

Thats my formula. Engineer for the obvious reason. Medic in transport for close unit support. And I choose Spec Ops for flying for one reason. When you get stuck in an uncap if you get shot down, many times I have been kicked for "basecamping". So I just say I am destroying enemy assests.

Never use sniper while driving, unless you just put a claymore on that vehicle and when you get in you die. Then its ok.

*Also, if you are assault, just get a ride with someone else you is driving. You are much more helpful that way.

[Large team with good teamwork] Vs. [1 or a few people who run around doing their own thing because they don't believe in teamwork?]

Yes, of course- if you have more enemies- there's more points to reap- provided you can kill them more than they can kill you. But then again, thats just points. Good teamwork also = team-mates spotting enemies and threats. If there are more people who believe in effective teamwork playing against the ever amazing few lone wolves - there's a higher likelihood you will be spotted and hunted down like the lone-wolf you are.

Hm... I even find zombie movies unrealistic- it's like a few random teenagers against a horde of teamworking flesh-eating monsters? While you believe in Rambo and Hollywood, I'll believe in teamwork .

That is by far, the worst excuse I have ever heard to not play as part of a team. Players like you who don't want to help their teammates ruin the game.
