Helicopter denial

I've seen it happening on a couple servers. Some idiot takes the attack chopper and flies it straight up into the sky so no one can use it or kill it and probably causing the team to lose as well. Must be boring parking your ass away from the action. I hope that the idiots that do this crap have winamp on.

Won't happen on our server, if it does it won't happen for long until he is forced to play elsewhere. Ever thought he was doing this to help the opposite team?

Its a tactic i've actually seen used by the enemy a lil bit lately on the GA servers. An example i saw was a spec ops, looking to beat a hasty retreat after blowing up assets, has lobbed a grenade between the 2 idiots staring at each other, jumps into the attack chopper. He must have known he had little flying skills, and so he merely took it up high then bailed out to do more carnage on the ground, whilst the chopper slowly spiralled around for the next 5 minutes.

I think its a great denial tactic, personally.

Lol :-) if you expirence lag when you listen to music whilst playing BF2, you must have a bad internetconnection or bad processor.

I play with music (windows mediaplayer), download movies (limewire), and my ping is always round 25.

you are lying. I have a fiber optics connection, yet I lag if I download movie at 120k second (the connection is capped at 100mb) while playing STARCRAFT

He isn't lying. I have a standard 2mb connection and I download alot of torrents (see, im with the program :laugh: ) while playing and the only time ill lag is when someone with a ping of over 300 joins the game.

I don't know starcraft personally but perhaps its a game which uses alot more bandwidth?

It's all about buying and renting the things you watch/play. Anything related to the "scene" shouldn't be as easy as you both just mentioned.
