Could it be that the new patch comes out today?I recall the same thing happened when EA website was down patch 1.03 came out later that day.:)

Yeah, I remember that too but I have no idea why they'd have to take their site down just to release a patch?

yea i agree but I do remember the EA site was down for a few hours early in the morning and then the patch 1.03 was released around 1pm that day. So im hoping patch 1.2 is here today.

I doubt it, its just the weekly maintenance day, happens the same day every week.

No they are not going to release to patch today..... they have mention that the patch will be release on Feb 7th or when the Booster Pack, Euro Forces is release on Feb. 16th.

It's usually on 'Largedownloads' first anyway with millions of people complaining they can't see it though.

Just remember anyone playing in a team wafare league cannot install the patch till they check it.

As for 1.2 Patch i read it somewhere that the patch was originally setfor Feb 1st but then it was pushed back until Feb 7th.

That's the thing. EA claim that there never was a release date for the patch.

None was announced.

NOw I imagine there was an internal date but who knows if it's changed or not?

Well EA site is back up so we'll just have to wait and see what happens later on today. It may or may not be released today. Im just getting too anxious for this new patch I guess.:hmm:

I like to reflect on history. If i remember correctly the 1.12 patch was release on the same day as when the expansion pack was release. I would not get too worked up on the release of 1.2 because the Booster Pack, Euro Forces will not be out until Feb 16th as i have posted before with a link.

Yeah, this was because SF came with the 1.1 patch but for whatever reason, EA decided that something was important enough to fix by bringing out a 1.2 patch just afterwards. If theings had gone to plan (I'm guessing) then SF would have come with the latest version.
