Weapon unlock gone?

I had one avail. slot for a weapon unlock and when I log on every time I choose "Select unlock later" because I was waiting for the patch to go through in order to get the new sniper kit. When I logged on yesterday I found that my unlock was gone and I had a G3. What gives? Does it auto select your unlock if you don't choose one in a certain amount of time?

I've never heard of the game deciding on an unlock after a certain amount of time.

How long did you leave it until you realised that you had an unlock?

I got two unlocks for going up to gunnery sergeant. I used one on anti-tank kit and was choosing to save it all other times... then i looked the other day and my unlock was gone and that weapon in its place.

Basically It was there for a few days before it disappeared

It's VERY easy to accidentally select it because the assault kit is the default unlock that comes up.

So..I'm guessing it was an accidental click
