Here's the problem. I just received my new Dell XPS 600, 940 3.2ghz GeForce 7800 GTX 3gigs ram all the nice stuff.
Anyways, when I join a server I noticed there is a very big slow down in game performance. Loss in FPS and my player seems to "skip" around and stutter when I'm running around. I noticed when I hit ESC to load the menu, I can still see that same FPS and stuttering while in the menu, especially in the little black and white animation before the menu boxes.
I tested it and started a single player game and it runs absolutely fine at max FPS with no slow down whatsoever. I only get this big FPS loss and slowdown stuter/skipping when I join a server, I've done everything from reinstall the game to new drivers and nothing works. Any help would be appreciated.
